Nina Kennedy Music & Memoirs Two Shows in the Parlor at the Mary Heaton Vorse House - Limited capacity Beverages will be served 1st Reception | 4:00pm 1st Showtime | 4:30-5:30pm 2nd Reception | 6:00pm 2nd Showtime | 6:30-7:30 pm Concert pianist Nina Kennedy performs parts of her new one-woman show, including music by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Bach, Gershwin, and John W. Work. She will also read from her Lambda Literary Award-nominated memoir Practicing for Love, in which she describes growing up in the segregated South, and having parents who were both classical pianists and on the faculty at the HBCU Fisk University.
