PRIDE Recovery West

PRIDE Recovery is an evidence-based program for people in recovery based on the SMART Recovery Model. LGBTQ+ people often have unique struggles when trying to recover from substance use and harmful behaviors. Support groups for LGBTQ+ individuals can be very helpful, especially in cities where social life often revolves around bars and parties. Although there are AA and NA groups just for LGBTQ+ people, some aspects of these programs like religious themes, labels, and gender roles can feel unwelcoming. PRIDE Recovery will offer a safe, sober space where LGBTQ+ people and allies can connect and get tools to handle challenges and avoid triggers.
