Kill Ohio’s Drag Ban

State lawmakers want to criminalize and prosecute drag performers, trans, and gender expansive individuals through House Bill 249. With Ohio’s Drag Ban a few steps away from becoming law, we’re bringing our community together to capture our stories, immortalize our art, and map out concrete ways to protect each other. WHEN : Saturday, November 14 | 2:00 PM, 6:00 PM WHERE : LGBT Center Cleveland | 6705 Detroit Ave, Cleveland Register for the Event 2:00, 3:30 PM | PRESERVE OUR COMMUNITY’S ART : Open portrait studio for drag performers, trans, and gender-expansive folx to take home free professional photos and contribute to Indelible, a collaborative project between Cleveland Public Library, LGBT Center Cleveland, and photographer Bridget Caswell. 3:30, 5:30 PM | SHAPE OUR COMMUNITY’S FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE : Open roundtable discussion to share how you’re feeling, voice your needs, and identify local legal support and emergency resources you can use to protect yourself.
